Ordering
Can I order a hamper for delivery on a certain day?

Absolutely! You can schedule your hamper up to 4 months in advance. During checkout, you’ll see a calendar where you can select your preferred delivery date.

Need a gift in a hurry? Order by 1pm for same-day dispatch.
Why haven’t I received a confirmation email of my order?

Your confirmation email should arrive within 5 minutes. If you don’t see it, please check your spam or junk folder.

If it’s still missing, please [contact us] and we’ll help you out.
Will there be receipts or invoices within the hamper?

Because many of our hampers are gifts, you’ll never find any receipts or invoicing inside the box.

I want to add additional items to a hamper. Can I do this?

You can personalise any hamper with thoughtful extras from our [Add Extra Items] section. There’s plenty to choose from!
Can I make a change to my order?

You can! Just [email us] with the details and we’ll do our best to help.

Please note: if your order is already packaged for dispatch, changes might not be possible.
Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order as long as it’s at least 24 hours before dispatch.

Once an order contains fresh produce and is prepared for dispatch, we cannot cancel it.
How do I order multiple hampers to different addresses?

No problem! Just [email us] with the details and we will arrange everything for you.
How long will my Cream Tea last?

For the best taste, enjoy your scones and clotted cream within 4 days of despatch. Clotted cream lasts well in the fridge, and scones are best stored in an airtight container away from sunlight.
How should I store the cream, cheese, pasties and scones?

Please refrigerate the clotted cream, cheese, and pasties as soon as your hamper arrives. Scones should be stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
Will my pasties be ready to eat?

Your pasties are handmade daily and travel frozen for freshness. They arrive chilled and ready to eat or refrigerate.

To reheat, warm them in the centre of a preheated oven at 180°C (160°C fan) for 15–20 minutes. Do not refreeze.
If I order alcohol, will glass bottles be safe in transit?

You must be 18 or over to order alcohol. Each bottle is wrapped in a recyclable mesh sleeve and protected with paper-based packing straw to ensure safe delivery.
How is my hamper packed and delivered?

Each hamper is hand packed with eco-friendly materials, including paper-based straw and ice packs if needed. No receipts or invoices are included inside, making it perfect for gifts.

We offer free cream tea and afternoon tea delivery to most areas in the UK.
Why have I received different items in my hamper?

We work with small independent producers, so occasionally a product may be substituted with a similar item of equal or greater value.
I forgot to add something to my order—can I still do this?

No problem—just [email us] the details and we’ll arrange it. If there’s an extra cost, we’ll send a payment link.
Do you add gift messages to your Cornish Hampers?

Absolutely! We include a beautiful Cornish postcard featuring one of our favourite landscapes. Your personal message is added on the back next to a stamp-style mark.

There are four postcard designs added at random—collect them all!

Delivery
Where do you deliver?

We deliver throughout the UK and Northern Ireland. We also offer free cream tea and afternoon tea delivery to most destinations within the UK. Find out more on our Delivery Page.
Do you deliver internationally?

We’ve considered it, but our Cream Teas don’t travel long distances well. For now, we deliver only within the UK to ensure everything arrives perfectly fresh.
How are the hampers delivered?

We mainly use DHL for fast and reliable delivery. If DHL does not offer next-day delivery to your location, we use Royal Mail instead to ensure your hamper still arrives in great condition.
How can I track my order?

Your tracking number is included in the dispatch email. If you can't find it, just contact us via our Contact Form and we’ll resend it.

What happens if no one is available to receive the parcel?

If no one is home, the courier may leave your parcel in a secure safe place. This is decided at their discretion and is usually somewhere safe and convenient.
My order is delayed. Will this affect perishable items?

Our hampers are packed to stay fresh for up to 2 days in transit. If your delivery is delayed by just one day, everything should still arrive fresh and ready to enjoy.
How will I know that my order has been delivered?

The courier will send you a confirmation email once your parcel has been successfully delivered.

How is my Hamper packed and delivered?

Each hamper is packed thoughtfully by hand with care, quality and a smile! Our Cream teas by Post arrive in eco-friendly packaging, hand stamped with the Cornish Hampers logo so you know you’re getting the real deal.

Internally we add paper-based packing straw – good for the environment and perfect for protecting your scones while keeping everything looking lovely. When the sun is out, we include an ice pack to help our beloved Roddas clotted cream travel comfortably. And because many of our hampers are gifts, you’ll never find any receipts or invoicing inside the box – just a traditional Cornish Cream Tea with your personal message.
