A Cornish afternoon tea hamper with Rodda's clotted cream, jam from Cornwall and large hand-made scones.
This afternoon tea hamper includes:
4 Large Plain Scones – hand-made by a local chef our scones are a cross between the modern cake like scone and a traditional Cornish split which is more bread like, meaning they’re great for posting and for eating a few days after baking.
113g Rodda’s Cornish Clotted Cream - World leaders in clotted cream with over 120 years’ experience, Rodda’s still craft it the same way, by gently baking rich local cream until it’s thick, unctuous and thoroughly dollopable.
113g Boddingtons Strawberry Jam - Boddingtons Berries produce quality preserves by hand, in small batches on their family farm at Mevagissey and have been doing so since the Second World War. Their jam has a very high fruit content with the only additions being sugar and lemon juice.
Box of 10 sachets of Tregothnan Classic Tea - Tregothnan put the English into English tea by planting the first ever tea in the UK in 1999. They blend Cornish tea with the finest leaves from Assam and Darjeeling to create distinctive flavours.
200g Furniss of Cornwall Original Cornish Fairings - Furniss began manufacturing the Cornish fairings (a type of traditional ginger biscuit) in 1886 and are still the biggest producer of them today.
100g Roskilly's Organic Fudge – The pack will be either Chocolate Orange, Praline, Ginger or Salted Caramel flavour. Based on a real, working, organic Cornish farm where visitors can meet the animals and stroll around the meadows, Roskilly’s produce award winning organic ice cream and Cornish fudge.
Personalised gift card - enter personal message in the box at the bottom of the checkout page.
Gift Wrapped Wicker Basket – The hamper contents are lovingly arranged in a wicker basket, secured with cellophane, tied with ribbon and placed in a secure outer box.
It was a lovely gift for my sister. Thank you.
A great present for my parents. They said that the scones were particularly tasty. Everything exactly as described.
